Description
Ansible uses a socket with predictable filename in /tmp
runner/connection_plugins/ssh.py in Ansible before 1.2.3, when using ControlPersist, allows local users to redirect a ssh session via a symlink attack on a socket file with a predictable name in /tmp/.
How this vulnerability can be exploited
This issue can be reached with local access to the system, attack complexity is low, an attacker needs no privileges on the target. No user interaction is required. Rated impact: confidentiality none, integrity low, availability none.
