Description
Mattermost Server allows System Admin to modify LDAP account names and email addresses
An issue was discovered in Mattermost Server before 3.0.0. It has a superfluous API in which the System Admin can change the account name and e-mail address of an LDAP account.
How this vulnerability can be exploited
This issue can be reached over the network, attack complexity is low, an attacker needs administrative privileges on the target. No user interaction is required. The scope is unchanged, so the impact stays within the vulnerable component. Rated impact: confidentiality none, integrity low, availability none.
