Description

GOAUTH credential leak in cmd/go

Credentials provided via the new GOAUTH feature were not being properly segmented by domain, allowing a malicious server to request credentials they should not have access to. By default, unless otherwise set, this only affected credentials stored in the users .netrc file.

This issue can be reached over the network, attack complexity is low, an attacker needs low-level privileges on the target. No user interaction is required. The scope is unchanged, so the impact stays within the vulnerable component. Rated impact: confidentiality high, integrity high, availability high.
