Improper Neutralization of Input Used for LLM Prompting in GitLab
GitLab has remediated an issue in GitLab EE affecting all versions from 19.1 before 19.1.3 and 19.2 before 19.2.1 that under certain conditions could have allowed an authenticated user to access information from unauthorized projects due to improper neutralization of untrusted content processed by the AI-assisted code review functionality.
This issue can be reached over the network, attack complexity is low, an attacker needs low-level privileges on the target. No user interaction is required. The scope is unchanged, so the impact stays within the vulnerable component. Rated impact: confidentiality low, integrity none, availability none.
