Duplicate Advisory: OpenClaw: CDP /json/version WebSocket URL could pivot to untrusted second-hop targets
This advisory has been withdrawn because it is a duplicate of GHSA-f7fh-qg34-x2xh. This link is maintained to preserve external references.
OpenClaw before 2026.4.5 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability in the CDP /json/version WebSocket endpoint that allows attackers to pivot to untrusted second-hop targets. The webSocketDebuggerUrl response field is not properly validated, enabling attackers to redirect connections to arbitrary hosts and perform SSRF-style attacks.
This issue can be reached over the network, attack complexity is low, an attacker needs low-level privileges on the target. No user interaction is required. The scope is unchanged, so the impact stays within the vulnerable component. Rated impact: confidentiality none, integrity none, availability none.
GHSA-3r56-7hhr-vfg9 is classified as CWE-601: Open Redirect. A redirect target is taken from user input, so a trusted link can send the visitor to an attacker's site.
GHSA-3r56-7hhr-vfg9 is recorded against 1 package.
Published on 6 May 2026 and last revised on 11 May 2026. No public exploit is currently recorded for this entry. Record sourced from OSV.
