Description

There is an insecure default credentials vulnerability in NI grpc-device when TLS configuration is not present and the server is bound beyond loopback.  This may allow an unauthenticated user access to the server on the local network.  This affects NI grpc-device 2.17.0 and prior versions.

This issue can be reached over the network, attack complexity is low, an attacker needs no privileges on the target. No user interaction is required. The scope is unchanged, so the impact stays within the vulnerable component. Rated impact: confidentiality high, integrity high, availability none.
